Yesterday I released the new Episode of my podcast “PERSPECTIVE OF THE MIND” with the spiritual teacher Ryan Keys – Watch here– a conversation that is especially designed for people who like spirituality, mysticism, personal development; a conversation that inspired me to write about ACCEPTANCE and GRATITUDE.
Ryan shared that he has been through a lot of painful experiences in life, including being molested by his own father when he was four years old, having two near death experiences, walking a path with someone in his life who had two times cancer, but he, anyway, succeeded to find acceptance, forgiveness, and gratitude for all that has happened. He even found forgiveness for the man that was supposed to be the biggest supporter in his life during his childhood – his father – but who caused serious damage.
I was listening to him, retelling his experiences during our Interview and thought how much power is hidden in the human spirit that can uplift itself to such an extent, transcend to such dimensions and out zoom the life picture, so that it can finally find peace, acceptance and forgiveness. Everything happens beautifully when we allow it to unfold naturally, at its own pace without any forcing of our feeling and emotions.
Is it an easy process? No, it requires time and evolvement, it requires strong desire to release the chains of the pain that the unconscious mind is used to most likely in such cases.
Some things happen to us, and we do not have any influence over that, especially during our childhood. We are simply unable to change the course of some things in life without that to mean that we are powerless. It means that some things simply happen, as Ryan said during our Interview: “We have free will, but our free will does not necessarily give us the ability to change the direction of the earth or our experience. There will be things that happen in our life that we cannot stop and there are bigger things we cannot understand their fathom.” That’s why I will agree with my guest that the highest frequency is the frequency of acceptance. Acceptance of what is. Acceptance of what we cannot change. Acceptance of what was. Acceptance of the cards that we have been given with, sometimes we can play with them the best “hand” possible, and it is still not what we want. Then, it comes Acceptance again. Acceptance that we have done everything in our power and that, guys, is enough. Acceptance is such a great tool that releases all the guilt, pressure, self-criticism and make them transcend and disappear from our bodies. The life becomes much brighter, much lighter. Use it as often as possible.
Gratitude is another powerful tool and anchor towards positive perception, but when it is done from a sincere and honest place. If you are following my work, you already know that I am not about forcing emotions. If you do not feel grateful for what has happened to you, that’s the situation and you do not need to change it. Neither you need to force yourself to be grateful for something just because you are afraid that you will lose it. It actually shows lack. Gratitude is a very powerful tool but when used with the right intention.
If there is not anything you can be grateful for when referring to the past, why do not you find something that you can be grateful for in the present moment. We talk about it with Ryan in the latest Episode – go and watch it, it is really worth your time Watch here. There are so many reasons we can be grateful for when it comes to the present moment. The reason that we are alive, the reason that we can breathe, the reason that we can learn and evolve. Take it from there and see where the momentum of gratitude for the present moment will bring you. When you have this momentum you may want to go back and shift the perception of painful, past experiences. Remember: what happened to us is not always true, it is the perception and the meaning that we give to past experiences that actually shape them.
You are always able to book a Session with me Here. I would love to assist you in the process of finding peace and discover your true and deep essence.
Life happens. What matters is what we make out of every experience.
